Simple Plan have been friends with Avril Lavigne ever since she took them on their first Canadian tour in 2003 as her opening band. Currently one of the projects that Avril has been involved in, is her foundation called The Avril Lavigne Foundation. Recently she’s organised a series of Ebay auctions, where people can bid on various valuable items, donated and signed by artists such as Lady Gaga, Nickelback, Sum 41, Travis Barker or Simple Plan, with all the proceeds going to the charity.
Simple Plan donated a signed pickguard for Fender guitars, which you can go and bid on here.
