As it was previously reported, the Australian based charity project called “In Their Shoes” kicked off their online auctions that feature a large number of Converse shoes designed by various popular artists including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, New Order, Jason Mraz, Fun, Skrillex and many more. Proceeds from the auctions will go either to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or to a foundation chosen by the artist himself.
One of the artists involved in this project is also Simple Plan who’s design has since the start of the auction (on October 24th) become the leader in all of the auctions held by “In Their Shoes” with the current highest bid at $930. Second place is currently held by the design by a fellow Canadian Michael Bublé that’s at $920 and in third place it’s a tie between Bruno Mars and Tame Impala – both at $600.
The auction will end in approximately 3 days so you too still have a chance to get this awesome and one-of-a-kind pair of sneakers – click here for the ebay auction. Good news is that all the proceeds from the auction of the shoes designed by Simple Plan will be going to the Simple Plan Foundation.
