Song-title of unreleased Simple Plan song co-written by Alex Gaskarth revealed

In just a couple of days it will be exactly two years since Pierre and Chuck got together with Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low) and Mark Hoppus (Blink 182) to write some new Simple Plan music. Unfortunately none of the songs the guys came up with made it onto the final cut of the ‘Taking One For The Team’ record, but the songs do exist somewhere in some form.. on Chuck’s laptop possibly.

And while what exactly turned out of the collaboration with Mark Hoppus is still unknown, the song-title from the collaborative song-writing effort with Alex Gaskarth has slipped into the internetverse recently – the song was called “Constellation”.

Now, whether this was a sequel to ‘Astronaut’, we will probably never know. Or maybe, perhaps, if the guys ever decide to release some of the left-over songs from the making of ‘Taking One For The Team’, as they did with “Get Your Heart On: The Second Coming” in 2013, then we might get a listen of that song eventually. But, there are no definite plans for an EP as of right now, although the band is thinking of that possibility, according to various recent interviews.

Simple Plan will be once again reunited with their old friends from All Time Low very soon – in November they are heading out on their Canadian tour, where All Time Low will be opening for them once again, along with PVRIS.

What do you think a song called ‘Constellation’ could be about? Would you like to hear it eventually?
