Pierre reveals the meaning behind the ‘Ok Cafêï’ club

When in Montreal, Pierre Bouvier could not miss an appearance on his friend’s Patrick Langlois’ TV program La Belle Gang [see a photo from his appearance here]. In this interview, Pierre discussed the band’s tour for the 15th anniversary of their first record, him being a father and also about the coffee club called ‘Ok Cafêï’ that Pierre, Sebastien and Chady started on tour a couple months ago, which has since turned into an inside joke.

If you’d like to watch the entire interview in French, you can do so below – here on SimplePlan.cz we’d like to highlight the coffee club question, as that has been on many fans’ minds for a while now. Emily translated that part of the interview for us, so you can now check it out in English below:

With Sebastien, we are, emotionally speaking, on the same level right now, and Chady, (Patrick’s substitute), takes care of photography, video, and deals with the meet and greet.

The three of us, we like to have coffee together, so we’d have an inside joke where we’d say: ‘ok cafêï’. The other band members thought we were ridiculous, and one day we were in Columbus, OH, and we saw a shop where you can create your own t-shirt in 30 minutes. We thought they would perhaps find us even more ridiculous with shirts… And when we got back, they asked: ‘Where did you get those t-shirts?’
