Jeff working on new ideas in his home recording studio

With the beginning of fall, the time has come for the members of Simple Plan to hold up to their promise and start working on their upcoming album. And while we’re still waiting for a confirmation on whether Chuck and Pierre already started working on their song-writing in LA, it seems like at least some of the members of the band on the opposite coast of North America have already begun their work.

Jeff Stinco, who resides in Montreal, published a new photo on Instagram two days ago, on which he can be seen working on some new ideas in his home studio. The lead guitarist accompanied this picture by the caption:

“Finally committing some ideas to my hard drive. #homestudio #recording”

If Jeff is truly working on ideas concerning Simple Plan’s new music, this would mean the official beginning of the process of the creation of their sixth album. I know many of you are most eager to know when you’ll finally be able to enjoy some new Simple Plan music on your headphones, but at this point it would be utterly impossible to get a specific release date from the band.

However, be assured that the band is aware that the fans have already waited long enough and their goal is to release at least some new music (even if not the full album) for you to enjoy as soon as early next year. This will hopefully become more clear once the guys truly fully dive into the songwriting process.
