At 5:15pm today of the local time, Simple Plan will be kicking off the hockey season with a free show in front of the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Unfortunately, only 4 out of 5 of the band members will be playing, as Sebastien will not be able to pay at this event.
You do not need to worry though. Sebastien apologized for his absence via Twitter today, stating “All is good, no worries, but I won’t be able to make it to the show tonight. It’s the first time the guys will get on stage without me, so good luck and have fun! See you all at the next show!”
As Sebastien said, this is the first time he was unable to attend a Simple Plan concert. In the past the same thing has happened to Jeff and David, who each missed a couple shows, always due to family emergencies.
