The 2nd annual edition of the C2MTL conference that explores the relationship between commerce and creativity, and its potential to redefine business, is taking place from May 21st to May 23rd in Montreal, Canada and Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan will be a part of it!
Chuck will be present on the first day of this event, on May 21st, to speak at a panel entitled “The Beat Goes On” that starts at 4:45pm. See the excerpt from the released guide to C2MTL 2013 below to check out what this panel will be about:
Music industry veterans offer insight into how both bands and C-suiters are adapting to a playing field radically altered by advancements in technology and how consumers experience music. The conversation will be led by Mitch Joel, President of Twist Image, and will look into how business models have evolved and the central role of digital content platforms, direct-to-fan initiatives, and the increasing need for a strong brand experience. Panelists include Charles “Chuck” Comeau, drummer for longstanding Montreal pop-punk band Simple Plan, J. Erving, President and CEO of J.E.G., and Francois-Charles Sirois, President and CEO of Telesystem, a local leader in the development of media and technology start-ups.
