New Simple Plan t-shirt design to help Japan

I assume the news about the horrible earthquake, which occured in Japan, the following tsunami and about all the disasters that both of them caused since then, had a deep impact on each of us. Since Friday you could have heard in all the media about many famous personalities, who have already tried to help as much as they could to support the victims in Japan: from Lady Gaga to Justin Bieber.

It’s safe to say it was just a matter of time till the Simple Plan guys announced their ways of helping Japan. Last night Simple Plan announced that their very own Simple Plan Foundation would donate $10 000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help Japan, and what more: a new Simple Plan t-shirt designed to remind us of the flag of Japan, will help raise even more money for the devastated country. You can buy it for $20 in the official Simple Plan Foundation store:

It absolutely breaks our hearts to watch the horrible images and videos of the devastation that has hit Japan following the March 11th earthquake and tsunami. We had the privilege to visit Japan many times over the last 10 years and It’s one of the most amazing place in the world. To see such destruction has deeply affected everyone in the band.

The Simple Plan Foundation has decided to donate $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help Japan earthquake and tsunami Relief Effort.

We also designed a special #HelpJapan shirt to help raise money for the Red Cross. All proceeds from the sale of this special shirt will go to the Red Cross Japan Relief Effort.

Rate new Simple Plan t-shirt designs

If you are one of those people, who constantly complain about the in the official Simple Plan webstore not being exactly what you’d like them to be, now you have a chance to rate the new designs, which have not been added to the official store yet (even though some of them have been available for purchase on Simple Plan shows for a few years now).

Simple Plan wallet from War Child for a good cause

War Child is a non-profit charitable organisation founded in 1999, that works with children all over the world to reduce poverty, to provide education and to defend their rights. In countless of projects that War Child is engaged in, the organisation relies on the help of welll-known people – in our case, the band Simple Plan, who have been supporting War Child’s projects for years.

The most recent project by War Child is called “Design the difference” in an effort to raise awarness about the War Child cause and raise funds to build schools in developing countries. A wallet designed by Simple Plan is one of the many designs you can purchase for $5 at the My Spring Shoes website and help War Child with their goals:
