Chuck on next Simple Plan album: “Our goal is to make the next record faster”

The final No Pads anniversary tour, which took Simple Plan to Brazil in the end, is now over and the first video interviews are just starting to come out! Below, we offer you a couple of the latest ones, which are definitely worth watching.

The first interview was filmed by the promoters Queremos in the backstage of the show in Rio de Janeiro with all four of the currently touring members of SP. The interview is very interestingly made and mostly features footage from the show in Rio with the voices of the members of the band in the background, discussing topics such as their fans in Brazil, the venue Circo Voador in Rio, the No Pads anniversary and the meaning of this album.

Have a look:

In the second interview for Ponto POP the guys once again discussed the importance of their first record but Chuck also mentioned the future plans for the band, which mostly revolve around making a new record. According to Chuck’s answer, it looks like the guys are still sticking to their goal to try to make their sixth release a bit quicker than the previous ones – as you may we aware, Simple Plan usually take about a year and half off to write songs and record an album. If this time were to be cut shorter, we could possibly expect a new album next year.

Check out what Chuck exactly said about album #6 and watch the full interview below:

After [Warped Tour], we’re gonna probably just slow down on touring and just focus on new music. And make a new record. I’m not sure exactly how long it’s gonna take but our goal is to try to make it a little faster than the previous albums and then just go back on tour, man! Just keep playing and, you know.. just have new music out there.
