Jeff Stinco to be an ambassador of the Foundation of Quebec’s conservatory

On Wednesday, Jeff Stinco has announced via Instagram that on top of his work in Simple Plan and his other extracurricular restaurant activities, he is now getting involved in another project, that’s very close to his heart.

Jeff Stinco will be among 21 artistic ambassadors from actors to musicians (others include e.g. the singer Béatrice Martin, also known as Cœur de pirate), who will through their actions help raise funds for the Foundation of the Conservatoire de Musique et d’Art Dramatique du Québec. The Foundation’s fundraising campaign’s goal is to raise 4 million dollars over the course of five years. These additional resources will support students by providing scholarships and other activities and project at the Conservatory in order to encourage talent and career development of its students.

According to the Foundation’s website, “by engaging and contributing to this major fundraising initiative, [the ambassadors] are all actively involved in enriching Québec with a new generation of artists.”.

Below, you can read Jeff’s announcement, he proudly shared with his fans on Instagram:

“I’m really proud to announce that I will be one of the ambassadors of the fund raising efforts of the Fondation of the Conservatoire de Musique et d’Art Dramatique du Québec. I studied classical guitar at Montreal’s Music Conservatory for many years and it was the best training I’ve ever had. It’s a wonderful institution and this foundation helps great students with grants and support during and after their studies. Happy 75th anniversary to the Quebec Conservatories! “
