Besides being Simple Plan’s lead guitarist, Jeff Stinco has also been very busy as an entrepreneur in the restaurant business for quite a few years now. His current set of co-owned bars/restaurants in Canada includes a variety of establishments from Italian restaurants to sushi bars [you can find out more about all 5 Jeff’s current restaurants/bars here].
Even though he just opened two new places this January, Jeff is already busy working on a brand new project, along with his friend Edward Zaki of the Chez Victoire restaurant. Today Jeff finally posted a picture on Twitter, revealing how the works on this new project are going:

According to the Eater.com website that spoke to Edward Zaki, the new project is a reconstruction of a bar previously known as “Le Piano Rouge”, which is located in a close proximity of another one of Jeff’s restaurants – Mangiafoco, also on Rue St-Paul.
“We took over the Piano Rouge in Old Montreal. It will be a wine and cocktail bar with an easy tavern, street food menu. We are aiming for a clientele of 25 and over, that are looking for the ambiance of a bar and the quality of food and wine, that you can expect from a restaurant, but all in simplicity and with no frills.
We have a few [chefs] in mind, that is not decided yet. The cuisine will be street and bar food with local products.
I’ve known Jeff for a few years. He is partners with some of my partners from Chez Victoire at Mangiafoco and Shinji/Rufus.” – Edward Zaki [source: Eater.com]
