Simple Plan replaced The Offspring as headliners of Four Chords Music Festival & performed ‘Self Esteem’

On Sunday, October 6th, Simple Plan were scheduled to be a part of the Four Chords Music Festival, which was held in Pittsburgh, PA alongside acts such as The Offspring, Anberlin or Knuckle Puck. Unfortunately, due to illness, The Offspring had to pull out of performing on said festival and it was announced only a few hours before the start of the festival that Simple Plan would now be closing the festival as headliners.

Even with big shoes too fill and a big crowd to win over after such a disappointment, Simple Plan didn’t hesitate and took over the show in a big way. And to cheer the fans of The Offspring, who couldn’t unfortunately see their band live at this event that day, they decided to add their own rendition of The Offspring’s song ‘Self Esteem’ to their setlist.
