Simple Plan bowling with Jack Barakat

As yesterday was their night off on their Canadian tour, Jeff, Pierre a Seb decided to spend it together on a bowling alley, and tagged their friend Jack Barakat from All Time Low along. Photos from this fun evening are already up in the gallery and you can start guessing which of the guys hides under which nickname: who is Stinker, Nice, Splinktor and who is Jay Rock? :)

Freaking Me Out live with Alex Gaskarth

A video capturing the performance of Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low singing Freaking Me Out with Simple Plan live in Vancouver, Canada on February 11th is finally here! As we already know from their tweets, the guys plan to “use” Alex in FMO for the rest of the Canadian tour, so expect more videos of their performance to pop up on YouTube. For this one, I’d like to thanki CSP:

Alex Gaskarth sings “Freaking Me Out” with Simple Plan in Vancouver

One of the greatest wishes I’ve seen floating around in many fans’ minds of the Simple Plan and All Time Low fans finally came true. Ever since the bands announced they will in fact be touring together in Canada, the fans immediately started hoping that perhaps now that they have Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low around (who lent his voice to the original version from the Get Your Heart On! album) the guys will finally give Freaking Me Out another chance and play it live.

And just a few hours before the show in Vancouver, Canada, Alex tweeted the following:

The show went really well and it seems like Alex’s cameo was so successful that the guys will be repeating it on every show of the Canadian tour:

Stream of Simple Plan’s webchat

Pretty much on time, the guys from Simple Plan (all except for Jeff) gathered around one of their laptops to record another live webchat with their fans, along with a few members from All Time Low, Marianas Trench and These Kids Wear Crowns.

Afer a few failed attempts in the past, the guys finally managed not to forget to record it, so now you can stream the whole webchat below:

And what did we get to know in this webchat? Not much of a high importance… well, except for one thing. Chuck knows pretty well how much we are all dying to know more about the promised surprise they have in store for us, so he decided to give us a bit of a clue.

According to Chuck, the surprise is somehow connected to the new single – that is – it is linked to Summer Paradise. Can we expect another music video? Maybe this time finally with K’Naan, who sings on the original version of the song? Or something completely different?
